The developers of the Village of Imagine say they have pre-sold 213 suites and residences in the 256-unit first phase valued at about $83 million.
The units in the first-phase Grand Imagine section sell for between $270,000 and $650,000.
The Village of Imagine is a planned 30-acre, 1,000-unit condo-hotel project located across the street from the Orange County Convention Center on Universal Boulevard, Construction on the first phase is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2006, with completion estimated in early 2008. The design uses a variety of Florida themes and will also include retail and restaurants and a variety of recreational amenities.
The project is owned by Orlando Village Development L.P., a joint-venture partnership that includes Intrawest Corp.
Intrawest (NYSE: IDR) is a Vancouver, British Columbia, developer that specializes in ski and golf resorts. The firm currently has 10 projects under way, including the Sandestin Beach & Golf Resort in Florida's Panhandle.
